We get it - you probably have some concerns about your pets BEHAVIOUR!
What if they are to boisterous? or anxious? They might bark! or jump! or make a scene!
Let us help with some of these handy resources and show how we can set your pet up for success.
Video 1 - Rewards
Often we hear "how did you do that? My dog never behaves like that for me!" - the answer? Simple! It's all in the rewards!
We make sure to spend one-on-one time with your dog learning exactly which rewards make them tick. And remember, not all rewards are food!

“My dog isn’t motivated by food”
It’s a comment we hear often - at expos, in emails and even when we arrive for a meet-and-greet.
BUT
-
Not all rewards are treats, and
-
Not all rewards are equal in your dogs eyes
So to begin with, let’s look at what exactly a reward is.
A reward is something - food, attention, praise, or toys (to name just a few) - that reinforces a behaviour.
Your dog will decide which rewards are of high or low value to them - just like a person may value one thing over another.
For example, Person A might be motivated by money, Person B by praise and Person C by food.
And just like people, each dog will be different.
So as an owner, or trainer, you need to establish what type of reward works best for your dog.
👉🏼 If it’s food, what type of food?
👉🏼 If it’s toys, are they squeaky? Chewy? Balls? Plush teddys?
👉🏼 If it’s attention, do they like verbal praise or physical affection? Maybe both?
So in this video we show HOW to determine which rewards work best for your dog.
Have some fun and experiment!!
